Fran Castan

She won the 2021 Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine. The award includes publication in The Hippocrates Prize Anthology and 1,000 British pounds. Her poem, “Voice Mail,” was chosen from a record number of entries submitted from 30 countries to The Open Category for Poets. There was a separate division for health professionals and another for young writers of poetry.
