Michael Andreasen received an MFA in creative writing from the University of California, Irvine. His fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, Tin House, McSweeney’s, Zoetrope: All-Story, Quarterly West, and elsewhere. His debut collection The Sea Beast Takes A Lover will be available from Dutton in February, 2018. He attended the Community of Writers in 2007.
