Leah Naomi Green is the author of The More Extravagant Feast (Graywolf Press, forthcoming 2020), which was selected by Li-Young Lee for the Walt Whitman Award of the Academy of American Poets. Her chapbook, The Ones We Have, received the 2012 Flying Trout Chapbook prize. Leah Naomi Green teaches English and Environmental Studies at Washington and Lee University and lives in the Shenandoah Mountains where she, her husband, and their daughters homestead and grow food. Green received an MFA from The University of California, Irvine. Her poems have appeared in Tin House, The Southern Review, Ecotone, and Pleiades.
