David Koehn’s (’04, ’06, ’14) first full-length book of poetry, Twine, won the 2013 May Sarton Poetry Prize. His poetry and translations were previously collected in two chapbooks, Tunic, (speCt! books 2013) and Coil (University of Alaska, 1998), the winner of the Midnight Sun Chapbook Contest. David edited and drove the release of Compendium, a collection of Donald Justice’s take on prosody, (Omnidawn Publishing 2017). David’s second full-length collection, Scatterplot, was released in the spring of 2020.
