Laurel Blossom

LAUREL BLOSSOM is the author of two book-length narrative prose poems, Degrees of Latitude and Longevity, both from Four Way Books. Previous books of lyric poetry include Wednesday: New and Selected Poems, The Papers Said, What’s Wrong, and a chapbook, Any Minute. Her work has appeared in many magazines, journals, and anthologies, including 180 More: Extraordinary Poems for Every Day, edited by Billy Collins. She has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, the New York State Council on the Arts, and Harris Manchester College, Oxford University. A chapbook, Un-, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press. Laurel served as the first ever Poet Laureate of Edgefield South Carolina (2015-2017). She attended the Community of Writers in 1977.
