On Friday, June 22, 2018 acclaimed poets Kazim Ali, Mónica del la Torre, Robert Hass, Sharon Olds, Evie Shockley and Dean Young will read from their poetry in the Miner’s Foundry Cultural Center in Nevada City.

This gathering of the tribe—all staff poets from this year’s Community of Writers’ Summer Poetry Workshop in Squaw Valley—will raise money for the Poetry Program’s financial aid and scholarships. Join us for a reading, signing, and reception with the poets. Books by the poets will be available for purchase before and after the reading.

General Admission: $25 advance/$30 at the door

Students: $12 advance/$15 at the door for students (with current student ID)

Premium Seats (first 2 rows): $45

Groups (10 or more purchased at the same time): $20/ticket

The Miner’s Foundry is located at325 Spring St, Nevada City, CA 95959. For location map and directions, please visit the Miner’s Foundry Cultural Center’s website.

Parking

The Foundry has a parking lot. If full there are several other lots in Nevada City as well as street parking.

Parking for visitors with disabilities can be found in the Foundry’s lot.

This venue is wheelchair accessible.
