Eliot Schrefer is the author most recently of Threatened, a finalist for the National Book Award in Young People’s Literature. It joins Endangered, also a National Book Award Finalist, as the second entry in a planned quartet of novels about the great apes. His books have won the Green Earth Book Award, the Sigurd Olson Nature Writing Award, and have appeared on the NPR “Best Books” and ALA “Best Books for Young Adults” list and been “Editor’s Choice” in The New York Times.
