Dora Wang

Dora Wang, M.D., M.A., is the author of two books, The Kitchen Shrink: A Psychiatrist’s Reflections on Healing in a Changing World (Riverhead, 2010), which was on bestseller lists in California and New Mexico; and The Daily Practice of Compassion: A History of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Its People and Its Mission, 1964-2014 (University of New Mexico School of Medicine Press, 2014), winner of a New Mexico-Arizona Book Award. A graduate of the Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Wang is a psychiatrist based in Albuquerque, NM, where she hosted a TV talk show, Duke City Magazine, for six years.
