It was an experience unlike anything I’ve had in my life: intense, high-level, deepening. I’m impressed and awed by the sheer amount of WORK it must take to pull this workshop off year after year. What astounded me the most: it was apparent that the organization was familiar with everyone’s work. The critique groups were well-balanced, the assigned workshop leader was appropriate for the manuscripts up for critique, and (maybe this is taking things too far but) even the roommate pairings seemed to have intentionality. You, your family, indeed everyone in the organization was welcoming, understanding, compassionate. No exception. What a gift!
