On Friday, June 19, 2015 acclaimed poets Forrest Gander, Robert Hass, Brenda Hillman,
J. Michael Martinez, Sharon Olds, and Evie Shockley will read from their poetry in the Setzer Auditorium at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento.
This gathering of the tribe—all staff poets from this year’s Community of Writers’ Summer Poetry Workshop in Squaw Valley—will raise money for the Poetry Program’s financial aid and scholarships. Books by the poets will be available for purchase and signing.

Tickets are $20 advance/$25 at the door for general admission and $12 advance/$15 at the door for students (with current student ID). Group discounts are available. The Crocker Art Museum will NOT be selling tickets. Please do not contact them regarding ticket sales.
The Crocker Art Museum is located at 216 O Street in Sacramento. For location map and directions, please visit the Crocker Art Musuem’s website.
On-street parking meters bordering the Museum and Crocker Park accept coins and credit cards (free after 6 PM). A small parking lot (Lot Y) is available on 2nd Street and costs $1.50 per hour. A larger parking lot (Lot X) is located at the corner of 2nd and N Streets and is $10 for all-day parking ($5 after 4 PM on weekdays or all day on weekends). Both parking lots are operated by the City of Sacramento and are enforced 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
Parking for visitors with disabilities can be found in the City parking lots and at meters on 2nd Street. Disabled Person Parking Placards do not receive free parking in the City parking lots.
Additional parking is available in nearby parking garages, located a short walk from the Museum.
