Alex Espinoza

Alex Espinoza is the author of Still Water Saints and The Five Acts of Diego León (both by Random House). His non-fiction, stories, and reviews have appeared in the New York Times Sunday Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, Huizache, The Virginia Quarterly Review, Los Angeles Magazine, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and on NPR’s All Things Considered. A recipient of an NEA Fellowship in Fiction and an American Book Award, he is the founding director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing and Literary Arts at Cal State Los Angeles. [F]
